In celebration of women playwrights worldwide, the International Centre for Women Playwrights (ICWP) is accepting nominations for the 50/50 Applause Award for the 2015/16 theatrical season (July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2016) at http://www.womenplaywrights.org The nomination window closes May 20, 2016.

Women Playwrights International Conference 2015

A book documenting the first Tantidhatri festival, held in 2012, was launched at this year's Tantidhatri festival in Bengaluru.

The book gathers photographs, essays, interviews and drawings that document Tantidhatri One, a festival of women's performance organised by Parvathy Baul and held in Pondicherry and Auroville, India, in March 2012.

Application Deadline Extended to 30th April 2016

In response to requests from applicants, the submission deadline for applications to the India Theatre Programme has been extended to 30 April 2016.
