Patricia Verity Suarez

Patricia Verity Suarez is a performer and movement director based in Teesside. She is interested in devised theatre that has a strong sense of place that engages with the local community through participation and using creativity and movement to promote wellbeing.

Training
Patricia is currently studying MA Movement Directing and Teaching at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama as well as holding an MA(Hons) Theatre Studies (2008-2012) from the University of Glasgow. She continues her professional development through attending ARCADE workshops at ARC, Stockton and workshops and residencies at Let's Circus/Circus Central.

Patricia is also a member of Yoga Alliance UK and holds 200HR Teacher Training Diploma (2014) from Abby Hoffman Yoga.

Theatre
Patricia has worked on a variety of theatre projects including devised theatre, a number of Theatre In Education tours and street performance as part of the Smile High Club for Let's Circus.

Movement Coaching/Yoga
As a movement coach Patricia works with individuals and small groups and specialises in using yoga and somatic practices as preparation for rehearsal or performance.
