Ana Kavalis

Ana Kavalis (* 1976 in Havana) is a Cuban-German performance artist who based in Berlin since 2004. Since 2007 she has been producing her own solo dance-theatre performances as ISLA project. In parallel, Ana collaborates with different dance and theater groups from the independent scene in Berlin and abroad. Since 2019 she leads the Resonant Body Training for performers, actors and people interested in movement in several studios in Berlin. In 2021 she founded the performance art Ore Ama Collective together with the dancer Maddi Fuente Ubani.
