I am the Founding Artistic Director of Dell'Arte International in Blue Lake, California. I am an actor/director/playwright/teacher/deviser and member of an artistic ensemble and community with a 40-year history of collaborative creation, touring and actor-training. We have explored the realms of physical theatre in drama, comedy, tragedy, and dance. I am currently writing the libretto for a chamber opera about the painter Morris Graves and the women who supported his work. I am collaborating with NYC composer Gina Leishman; June 2020 is our first workshop production. My 2014 work, "Elisabeth's Book," is the story of a small Holocaust artifact and the 3 women who hold it. I just adapted Goldoni's "The Ingenious Chambermaid," and last summer taught a workshop in Teaching Embodied Practice.
