Tradition, Transmission and Transgression 2024 - Women of Peace
We are very happy to announce that we are already preparing everything for the 4th edition of ‘Tradition, Transmission and Transgression/Women of Peace’, an international meeting of women creators within the framework of the Magdalena Project-network of women in contemporary arts.
“Theatre and culture can help to transform the imaginary of war towards an imaginary of peace: women have a fundamental role to play in this”. With these words, Patricia Ariza, who will be one of the guests present at the meeting, reiterates the role of women in conflict contexts, according to the dynamics that she has applied to the case of Colombia.
“Tradition, Transmission, Transgression/Women of PEACE “ intends to reflect on the role of women in the transmission and the maintenance of some cultural traditions and the responsibility of transform them where the same confirm a perspective that does not guarantee equality of opportunities and rights.
