Jan 6th-12th 2012
"a ground-breaking week" Jeff Ginsberg, Professor of Theatre, Columbia College of Chicago
This program focuses on the creation and development of individual work within the context of a group. Students receive daily training in the areas of improvisation, design, music, and object work, and one-on-one mentoring from ensemble members toward the development of an individual or group ‘etude.’ The Winter Intensive is ideal for those interested in using a physical approach to developing their own artistic work.

Student housing includes a shared kitchen, living room, grounds, and bedrooms. The house is a short walk from the Ashfield Lake, Elmer's Cafe, the post office, a laundromat, the town library, and the Ashfield Lakehouse (a local bar/restaurant). Phone and internet use is an additional, one-time fee of $5.
