OLIVES AND BLOOD is a play about Spanish Playwright Lorca by Michal Bradford.

Olives and Blood is a contemporary play about eh murder of Spanish Poet and Playwright Frederico Garcia Lorca whose life was tragically cut short at the height of his success in 1936 at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War. The play is through the voice of one of the murderers  "Trescante" who was on that hillside where the murder occurred.

His body has never been found and lies somewhere on a hillside in an unmarked mass grave.

Lorca’s plays including Blood Wedding and The House of Bernarda Alba were banned for 30 years but now they are performed all over the world.

This play will launch an exciting new theatre space Brixton East in London (www.brixtoneast.co.uk)
