Magdalena München lädt zur Eröffnungsveranstaltung von unserer Reihe Next Moves ein.

Next Moves reagiert auf die Notwendigkeit, die Veränderungen, die wir derzeit als Individuen und als Gesellschaft erleben, kritisch zu untersuchen. Die COVID19-Pandemie ist eine von vielen Vektoren der sozialen und ökologischen Veränderungen, die uns auf der Makro- und Mikroebene gemeinsam beeinflussen.

Nehmen wir uns die Zeit und schauen wir auf die politische Situation der letzten beiden Jahre: Sind wir, gesellschaftlich gesehen, auf einen besseren oder schlechteren Weg? Welche sind genau die Veränderungen, die wir erleben?

Von Januar bis März 2022 haben wir in Kooperation mit Villa Waldberta die beiden Künstlerinnen Eva Ursprung aus Graz und Sara Larsdotter Hallqvist aus Malmö für eine Residenz eingeladen. Während ihres Aufenthalts reflektieren wir gemeinsam die Lage der Gesellschaft und versuchen hieraus die Next Moves herzuleiten.

Der Kick Off ist der Auftakt für das Next Moves Panel (6. März) und zugleich Netzwerkevent für neue und bestehende Bündnisse: Komm und lernt Sara kennen, die seit 10 Jahren Theater Interakt in Malmö leitet. Theater Interakt arbeitet inhaltlich biografisch und dessen Ensemble setzt sich aus Personen mit Migrationserfahrung zusammen. Komm und lernt Eva kennen, u.a. Mit-Gründerin von Schaumbad – freies Atelierhaus Graz sowie international anerkannte Digitalkünstlerin, Fotografin und Musikerin.

Komm und schießt mit uns die Diskussion los, wie sich die Weichen der Kunst und der Gesellschaft nach zwei Jahren Pandemie stellen sollen.

Next Moves ist inspiriert von dem Projekt Mobilise/Demobilise (www.mobilise-demobilise.eu), an dem Sara, Eva und Helen Varley Jamieson (Magdalena München) zusammenarbeiten.

Magdalena München invites you to the opening event of our series Next Moves.

Next Moves responds to the need to critically examine the changes we are currently experiencing as individuals and as a society. The COVID19 pandemic is one of many vectors of social and environmental change that affect us collectively at the macro and micro levels.

Let's take the time to look at the political situation of the last two years: Are we, socially speaking, on a better or worse path? What exactly are the changes we are experiencing?

From January to March 2022 we have invited Eva Ursprung from Graz and Sara Larsdotter Hallqvist from Malmö as artists in residence at the Villa Wandberta. Throughout their residency, we, Magdalena München, reflect with them the past two years and the Next Moves.

The Kick Off is a prelude to the Next Moves Panel (Sunday 6 March) as well as a networking event for old and new working relationships. Come and meet Sara, who has been leading Teater Interakt for 10 years in Malmö, a theatre whose ensemble consists of people with migration experience. And come and meet Eva, co-founder of Schaumbad – Freies Atelierhaus Graz and an internationally recognized multi-disciplinary artist: musician, visual artist and cyberfeminist.

Join us to consider together how to plot the next course of art and society.

Next Moves is inspired by the Mobilise/Demobilise project (www.mobilise-demobilise.eu) in which Sara, Eva and Helen Varley Jamieson from Magdalena Munich are collaborating.
