FREE FORM/FREE FROM Violence - International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

On November 25th, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, at 9pm at spazio Matta in Pescara (Italy), Italian and international artists will come together to say NO to violence, and to act the feminine strength, freedom and beauty.

The idea is born from the desire not to forget Erica, young actress and psychologist very active in the community, a victim of giovane attrice e psicologa impegnata nel sociale, murdered by her partner: and to practice art in order not to forget all the female homicides and cultivate the memory as one form of our commitment to social change.

Many artistic interventions are included in the program and the income will be devolved to Centro Antiviolenza Ananke. Aulò Teatro from Padova presents a fragment from the performance “Il filo di Arianna” directed by Manuela Frontoni and dedicated to Erica. The Magfest collective presents “Kiss - a homage to Camille Claudel” curated by Gabriella Sacco with , Mara Calcagni, Sara Greco Valerio, Silvia Palma, Elena Mastracci (Rogo teatro), Valentina Tibaldi (video), and Maristella Lippolis and Francesca Romana Rietti as literary consultants. Other theatre, dance and music performances of the evening will be offered by: Duo Maclé - Annamaria Garibaldi e Sabrina Dante, Flavia Valoppi (TSI Florian Espace), Anouscka Brodacz (Gruppo Alhena), Claudia Cantone (Italia – Spagna), Monica Ciarcelluti (Gruppo Arterie CIRT) Mariangela Celi (collettivo Antigone), Tiziana Irti (Arti e Spettacolo), Teresa Ruggeri.
