“SISTERS ACT THE BEST”

In the floods in Serbia in many places people lost their homes, houses to return, some people lost their documents in the urgent evacuation, some did not have documents being IDPs. That is why the topic is important to us to talk about and to inform ourselves about the existing initiatives and the ways to be part of them. 

Reconstruction Women’s Fund invites you to the evening dedicated to solidarity, friendship, socializing and smile. Bring your readiness to join, ask and enjoy.  

Bring the money to buy a drink and to give to donation box, and all the contributions go to the settlement Karadjordjevo in Smederevska Palanka. The collected money from the evening will be invested in necessities, food, cleaning supplies. Violeta Djikanovic from Women in Black, who has been visiting people and mapping their needs, will do the direct distribution. 

“Sisters Act the Best” will present you the women who with their actions, work, energy and knowledge make visible social changes. 

Our special guests are:

• Jovana Vuković, Roof over his/her head, Regional Center for Minorities
• Dušica Parezanović, Cultural centers as solidarity spaces, Cultural Centre Rex
• Violeta Đikanović, Field report from flooded areas, Women in Black
• Iva Čukić, Ministry of Space, Street Gallery  

Musical summer feeling will be created by SISTERS ENGINEERS who are preparing unpredictable rhythms.
