Jacqueline Russell

Jacqueline is a director, performer, and playwright. A graduate of the University of Alberta’s BFA Acting Program, Jacqueline has toured across Western Canada with her feminist play Raunch (with co-creator Alice Nelson) which was most recently produced as a part of the Magnetic North Theatre Festival in June. Jacqueline is the Artistic Producer of Evergreen Theatre, where she directs and produces educational environmental children’s theatre that tours across the province. In 2011 Jacqueline produced “Girls gone Wilde” a festival of new work from emerging female playwrights. Jacqueline is the Artistic Producer of Urban Curvz, Calgary’s female driven theatre company www.urbancurvz.com.
