I create a mixture of staged pieces and interactive performances for Art venues, festivals, galleries, cabaret,club settings, one off events and varied sites for the independent circuit and with prestigious partners.
I explore the intersection between performance art, theatre, humour and music.
This year I have been touring the UK with- Free Lunch with the StenchWench. The work investigates shame and poverty and last month I led a LADA DIY residency for struggling artists at the Arc, Stockton.
I collaborate with Florence Peake (SEX MUSIC and Wombmanifesting kitchen), Dickie Beau and presented These Tender Alms with Lesley Ewen for SPILL 2016 and for the Queering Ritual symposium at York University, Nov 2017.
I created participatory projects with Home Live Art such as Soup Kitchen for the soul, Madame Ex’s Paint and Taint sessions and The guilt and Shame hotline for The National Theatre and Shuffle festival amongst others.
I have shown work in Copenhagen, Berlin, Leipzig, Athens, The National Portrait Gallery, Latitude, Southbank Centre, Bristol Museum, Buzzcut, BAC, Steakhouse Live and Domestic II Festival, Manchester.
My video TRAMP was selected for the Re.act Feminism 2 archive tour of European galleries in 2014-15. I also perform internationally with Lundahl and Seitl.
I have just been commissioned by METAL, Southend, for a new solo, which will be showcased at the Southbank Centre in partnership with the Centre for Dance Research at Coventry University (C-DaRE) to coincide with Unlimited. It will also be presented at Ovalhouse in June 2018.
