Women in Music - Music, Screenings, Talks, Panels and more
Women in Music event, 14th October 2018
We are really excited that our women in music event is returning for a second year! The Leeds Music Hub, Come Play With Me and PRS for Music have teamed up to put together a day of discussion and celebration of women in music scenes, including panels, talks, live sets & stalls, plus a special screening in the evening.
The event is free entry, donations welcome. Held at The Leeds Music Hub, Chapel Works, Stocks Street, LS7 2AU; doors 12.30pm, screening 7.15pm. Full running order available on the event page.
Panels:
Engineering & Production Panel, chaired by Dr Leah Kardos (Kingston University/Visconti Studio) with Lauren Deakin Davies, Jeanne Albin (SSR), Isabel Gracefield (RAK) and Aubrey Whitfield.
An industry panel, chaired by Claire Rose (PRS) with Anna Prior (Metronomy/Beat Palace), Rebecca Ayres (Sound City) and Laura Cortes (Freelance creative director/former Head of Digital Creative at Warner Bros Records UK)
Songwriting panel, chaired by Hannah Trigwell with Sarah Blanchard (The Six) and Hannah Wilson.
