In addition to this big project, ZID Theater is working on several other projects and activities. Read all about it in this newsletter!
At ZID Theater we produce various theatrical performances, in which local residents participate alongside professionals. These neighbourhood actors are being trained by professionals dancers and singers with whom they perform together on stage. ZID Academy is a platform for projects such as CultureGuides, StoryTellers and Neighbourhood Actors, which provide courses and workshops and opportunities for keeping in touch with other participants. At ZID Academy you will find support in organising cultural activities in the neighbourhood and you will develop skills that may come in handy in your everyday activities and work. We welcome everyone, so do take a look at our website!
New course for neighbourhood actors starts 6 October
Because of the huge interest for the course ‘Neighbourhood Actors’ we have planned another course!
It starts on 6 October and will take place every Thursday from 19.00 – 20-.30. During the course we work at performance techniques, movement and use of your voice. There is also attention to ensemble play, dancing and singing. Taking part in the training is free, but we do expect commitment: this means attending all the sessions and taking part in the actual performances. Apply by sending an email to email@example.com. Your personal talent and passion take central stage!
