3 new, young emerging playwrights and an oldie

Four new short plays

For those interested in having a little fun at home during this strange time of omicron lockdown, for those looking for something different at home to do with you and your kids, .. join us on the 26th and 27th of Feb!

Three emerging young playwrights and an oldie.
Join us for DarahRouge Drama club online performances of four new and original short plays.

'Warmth’ by Faiza (13) is the story of a young man signed up to an online companionship club to help him deal with his inability to make friends. He is surprised how much his online friend makes him feel warmth in a cold digital world.

‘Prank’ by John (12) highlights the stupidity of trying to bully your way to the top grade in class.

‘TBA Environment’ by Justin (14) is a magical shadow puppet play about social and environmental justice. ‘

'Not Everyone is Greta but..’ by Kerensa (49), looks at how the mother-daughter relationship can be flipped when the mother decides to venture away from the tensions of the nest and meet new friends online.

The script and performances are suitable for all ages. And it would be wonderful to hear what other people - young and old - in other countries think about these new works too. Two showtimes and your welcome to watch both.
