[EN] In Torino Magfest 7 organises two days of meetings & exchanges

Sunday 3 December [location to be announced]
9 p.m. ~^~ magfest bookshow ~^~ we meet around a bookcase of info material & publications by the network of women in theatre The Magdalena Project and the Magfest festivals, including two exhibitions of performance photography projects 10 p.m. projection of the ~^~ documentary Magdalena ~^~ by Jill Greenhalgh e Sara Penrhyn Jones
with hot chocolate & wine
with Camilla, Erika, Gabriella & guest artists to exchange views, read & make music together

Monday 4 December [cavallerizza - via verdi 9]
5 - 8 p.m. ~^~ magfest exchange ~^~ an afternoon of performance exchanges open to every artist who wishes to share something of their work ~~ individual artists or groups are invited to show max 10 minutes of their work & to formulate 2-3 questions to ask the audience before their performance to receive feedback on specific aspects of the work shared
9 p.m. magfest talk the theme of our talk takes inspiration from the festival title Sguardi che attraversano and from the link, suggested by Annamaria in her festival statement(link is external), between limits /boundaries & processes of transition /transformation ~~ we sit in a circle to share thoughts about the interaction of artists & [public] space, & experiences in making use of & being influenced by the built environment
10 p.m. projection of the documentary Il Lungo Giorno di Gloria by Chiara Crupi ~~ gender violence / theatre

Magfest 7 develops from a reflection on the meaning of boundaries as places for experimentation with new languages, poetics & cultural policies
we support the active engagement of artists that keep cultural & creative spaces open for public use & we are grateful & glad that Magfest can be present in Cavallerizza

cioccolata e vino caldo
ci saranno anche Camilla, Erika, Gabriella & artisti ospiti per conoscersi, leggere o fare musica insieme

Lunedì 4 dicembre [cavallerizza - via verdi 9]
ore 17:00 - 20:00 ~^~ magfest exchange ~^~ un pomeriggio di scambi performativi aperto a ogni artista che voglia mostrare qualcosa del proprio lavoro ~~ ogni singolo o gruppo è invitato a mostrare un massimo di 10 minuti del proprio lavoro, e a formulare 2-3 domande da sottoporre al pubblico prima della propria performance, per richiedere agli spettatori un feedback su aspetti specifici che si intende condividere
ore 21:00 ~^~ magfest talk ~^~ il dialogo prende ispirazione dal titolo del festival, 'Sguardi che attraversano' e dal collegamento [nella descrizione del tema(link is external) fatta da Annamaria Talone] tra limiti /confini e processi di transizione & trasformazione ~~ ci sediamo in cerchio per condividere pensieri su l’interazione tra artisti e spazio [pubblico], & esperienze sull’uso dell’ambiente antropizzato e sulle influenze che ne derivano

Magfest 7 nasce dalla riflessione sul senso del confine come luogo di sperimentazione di nuovi linguaggi, poetiche e culture politiche
