Internationales Frauen* Theaterfestival

The date is set and we are ready to get started! The International Women’s Theatre Festival celebrates ten years of intersectional feminist empowerment, visibility and structural change.

For this anniversary edition, we are seeking artists from the fields of theatre, performance, dance, public space, workshops, music, video, visual arts, as well as contributions for the symposium.

Under the motto “Feminist Democracy”, we pose the following artistic questions:

• What aesthetic, performative or collaborative methods are artists developing to shape democratic, feminist and anti-colonial working processes?
• What new narratives can challenge patriarchal and colonial power structures?
• What visions of a more just future are artists creating?
