The Game
After the winter tour in Sardinia – during which we reached the milestone of the first 100 performances! – The game took a short break. Now its cows are well rested and ready to set off for new destinations. In May, we’ll all head to Bochum for the Fidena Festival. In June, we’ll return to Italy, hosted for the first time as guests of the Festival della Lentezza, a space for culture and community open to all generations. The spring will draw to a close with a final stop in Switzerland, in Baden, as part of the Figura Festival, a biennial event we’re eagerly looking forward to.
The game is a participatory and intergenerational project that invites interaction with the playground of contemporary society and, in particular, its relationship with the organizational structures and economic dynamics on which it is based. How much can we participate in the game of the system we are immersed in, and how much are instead we being played ouselves? What scope for intervention and change do we have through our choices?
[…] Not a simple performance, nor a traditional game, but an experiment/experience in which fiction and theatrical play merge with economics, ethics and ecology. An unusual and innovative theatrical proposal, in which the “performative” qualities of both performers and spectators are successfully brought into play. Hystrio (Italy)
