Double Edge hosts Grenland Friteater
Norwegian performers Geddy Aniksdal and Lars Vik, ensemble members of Grenland Friteater, will be in residence at Double Edge Theatre, offering three public performances on Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2. On April 1 and 2 at 7:30 pm, Aniskdal will perform My Life as a Man, an autobiographical excursion into the story of her Norwegian working class origin. This one-woman performance brings to life her stories in theatre, the reasons why she makes theatre, and personal encounters made possible through the work.
Lars Vik’s Mr. Fumblebody will be presented April 2 at 2:00 PM. The character Mr. Fumblebody is inspired by (and is an homage to) the great silent movie comedians Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin and early Jaques Tati. In this hilarious show, suitable for ages 5 and up, Mr Vik combines physical slapstick with vivid audience participation and hilarious improvisations. Performed in English.
