Jane is an accomplished actor, singer and musician. Since 2011, she has been stretching her wings as a singer and musician with a string of shows by her duo, thewhiskeyarchive, including the successful launch of two EPs at the Old Museum in August 2012. Her stage performance credits in 2013 include Turn off the TV, Set the Table for Dinner (Two Hours’ Traffic) and
The Heartstrings Cabaret (devised and performed by Jane and fellow uke songstress Kahiwa Sebire at the 2013 Adelaide Fringe Festival).
Previous stage credits include The Merchant of Venice, Richard III, The Half Hour Hamlet, Express Macbeth, Where the Wild Things Are, As You Like It and Food of Love (QSE); Lunch with Vincent River (Elephant Juice Productions), the award winning Wild Things (Brisbane Short+Sweet Festival); Dante's Inferno: Living Hell, The Tempest, Sub Con Warrior 2.0 and iOrpheus (Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre); The Golden Dance (Dairakudakan); Thank God It's Tuesday (Improactive); and Brilliant Lies (Brisbane Arts Theatre). Her film credits include the short films Bloss (2007), Jade (2007), The Whip (2007), For Your Eyes (2007), Cycle (2005), Pursue Your Dreams (2005), Think of the Consequences (2005); and Claire Whiting's filmclip Prolonged (2007/Flipbook Media).
Jane has trained with international and national artists including Ellen Lauren (Viewpoints,Suzuki/2005), Yumiko Yoshioka (Butoh/2006), Steph Kehoe (Lecoq/2006), Alejandro Rolandi (Contact Improvisation/2007 and 2009), Rob Pensalfini (Linklater/2008-09), Yoshito Ohno (Butoh/2008), Dairakudakan (Butoh/2008) and John Bell (Masterclass/2010).
