I am a performer and dance creator from northern Italy, currently based in Rome. I graduated with honours in Performing Arts from Roma Tre University and have been working professionally since 2015, combining dance and theatre in my performances and workshops.
My artistic research is rooted in dance. I draw on the principles of Butoh, weaving them together with my background in Western dance traditions, such as ballet, modern and contemporary dance. My professional journey and studies have led me to develop a deep connection to physical theatre, with a creative process rooted in embodied action and the integration of voice as an essential component of my corporeal investigation.
I have presented my artistic work at festivals such as Dominio Pubblico, Corpo Mobile, Overground, ScenArte Festival Internazionale del Teatro Urbano, Romaeuropa Festival and Transit Festival 2025. As a performer, I collaborate with organisations and companies, most significantly the Váli Theatre Lab company in Denmark.
In 2020, I founded the Overlimbs collective, an open network that brings together dancers, musicians, videomakers, and performers from across Europe who share a sense of urgency about collective, porous, and unconventional practice. Our projects explore the phenomena of dance and embodied expression through interdisciplinary dialogue. The resulting visual works capture the dynamic interplay between movement and emotion, creating images that pulsate with vitality and poetic resonance.
