I am a female academic and theatre enthusiast currently exploring the dialogue between anthropology, community theatrical art practice and social justice. My work explores the radical potential of the imagination in social theatre, the socially and politically transformative potential of women's performance art and the ways in which the body and imagination are utilised as alternative ways of knowing that lead to alternative ways of being within the world.
