Giovanna Michaliadi Sarti is a Greek-Italian theater and circus performer and trainer and active member of the Multiavctive Art Group “Fabrica Athens”. Her performing arts training is based on a series of educational and research trips around the world: “Suzuki Training Summer Course” with the Suzuki Theater Company of Toga in Japan, “The Actors Hub” (Suzuki Method for actors with Kameron Steele, Butoh with Daisuke Yoshimoto and “Voice and Body” with Jorge Parente) at the Grotowski Institute in Poland, “INI Summer Intensive Program” (Noh Theater) in Japan, “Liquid Way To Action” at Studio Matejka in Poland and “200h Nada Yoga Teacher Training" at Nada Yoga School in India. In Greece she studied theater at the “Theater of Research” workshop with Fanis Katechos, Circus Techniques with Irina Gurova at Circus Days – The Circus School of Athens, but also Site-specific Performance with Kitt Johnson at the “Blooming Island” international workshop in Andros.
She is an instructor of theater, yoga and hoopdance in many Erasmus + programs, European educational programs and youth exchange programs in Greece, Germany, Spain and Turkey. She has directed and co-directed the performances "Land without Man”, “Roots and Wings” and “Memories”, which were presented in Berlin. In addition, she has directed Flashmob to promote Eramsus + at the CEPA Mall in Ankara, Turkey. As a performer she has taken part in Site Specific performances, in Studio Matejka short films and in the short film “Set Up – Pagida” by Horme Pictures. In addition, she has appeared in the performances “7 Deadly Sins” and “Faith” by Fabrica Athens, as well as in her solo performance "Xanthi". She has participated in street theater festivals in Greece and abroad (Austria, Italy, South Korea, Macedonia) as a Hula Hoop Performer, Fire Performer and as a member of the artistic duet Mr and Mrs Bubble. In addition, she has collaborated with the Greek mission of Clowns Without Borders in Sweden.
