Carmen Pombero

Screenwriter, playwright and writer. I have participated in the highest-rated series on Spanish television and received numerous international awards for my career as a playwrighter. I have published short stories in American magazines. Formed in theater and film between Seville, Madrid, Havana and New York, my works are based in social denunciation with special attention to the inequalities suffered by women and the homosexual, lesbian and transsexual collectives. This struggle for equality is also realized in my private life, belonging to different international NGOs and feminist associations.
