on a member's profile page, there is a section that is the member's activities on the site; this seems to only show blogs & comments. it should also show news & events posts. i had a small look at the view for this & couldn't immediately see how to change it - i will try to look again when i have more time.

yay - i worked this one out :) in the view, i cloned the "news" setting to create an "events" one, then i realised that neither were showing up. i compared the settings in the view for "blog" & "comment" entries that were showing up, & saw that they needed to be attached to the default view, so i did that & now they are there :)
