MagAzine Streaming Instructions

Follow these steps to start your stream:

1. Go to: https://custlogin.audiovideoweb.com/lnks/fstream/5c3flslive2499
2. Click "Allow" in the pop-up window.
3. Set the Bitrate to 300
4. Set the dimensions to 320 x 240
5. Set Frames per second to 15
6. Enter the password that you have been sent by email.
7. Click "start stream"

Keep this window open, and when you have finished streaming come back to this window and click "Stop Stream"

Go to /en/content/magazine-stream to see the stream.

The chat is below the stream; it is very important that you open the chat in a popout window so that you can see both the chat and the stream at the same time, as the chat is where we can communicate with you.

To open the chat in a popout window, click on [View in popout] at the top of the chat.

You can have the chat popout open, but close the window that has the stream in it. You may want to do this while you are streaming in order to improve performance, if your internet connection is a bit slow.

You can watch the stream even when you are streaming, but if you are watching and streaming at the same time you must turn down the volume of your incoming stream. Do this with the slider underneath the web cam window on /en/content/magazine-stream.

If you need to adjust the volume settings of your stream, do this:

1. In the window where your stream is being sent (https://custlogin.audiovideoweb.com/lnks/fstream/5c3flslive2499) position the mouse over your webcam window and right-click (or ctrl-click if you're on a mac) and a little menu will appear.
2. Select "Settings"
3. In the window that opens, look for the microphone icon and click on this
4. Here you can select different microphones, if you have more than one available; you can check "reduce echo" to improve the quality of the sound; and you can adjust the input volume of your mic - normally this should be about halfway along the slider.
