25th Anniversary of DAH Theatre Research Centre
This year DAH Theatre celebrates its 25th Anniversary by organizing a Festival and Conference:
Dramaturgy of Theory / Dramaturgy of Practice
from June 30th till July 03rd, 2016
This event has been envisaged as a bridge connecting theory and practice in contemporary scenic arts. This international forum of artists and theorists will offer a four-day program of performances, expert demonstrations, lectures and different presentations. (read more)
After the Festival DAH Theatre continues with the Institute from July 4th till 16th 2016 - an intensive two-week program of events and practical workshops designed for both actors and directors using contemporary theatre techniques. (read more)

Invited theorists and artists from Serbia and abroad are:
Ivan Medenica, professor at Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Belgrade and Artistic Director of famous BITEF Festival(Belgrade International theatre Festival), Serbia- one of the oldest European theatre Festivals, Milena Dragićević Šešić, professor at Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Belgrade and Head of UNESCO Chair in Interculturalism, Art Management and Mediation, professor of Cultural Policy & Cultural Management, Cultural studies, Media studies, Jovan Čekić, philosopher and conceptual artist, professor at Faculty of Media and Communications - University Singidunum, Belgrade, Mirjana Karanović, one of the most renowned Serbian actresses, with international career in film and theatre, professor at Art Academy in Belgrade, Simon Grabovac, poet and Director of INFANT Festival (International Festival of Alternative and New Theatre) in Novi Sad, Serbia, Goran Radovanović, film director, whose film "Enclave" had been nominated for Oscar, Miodrag Tabački, one of Serbia's leading set designers and professor at Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Belgrade, Dennis Barnett, professor at Coe College, Iowa, director and theoretician, editor of the first book on DAH Theatre, USA, Amy Sarno, professor at Beloit College , Illinois, actress, writer and director, USA, Irina Kruzhilina, costume designer, collaborator of Disney and many other known theatres and institutions, Russia/USA, David Daimond, career coach for artist, producer and permanent collaborator of LaMama Theatre, New York, USA, Jill Greenhalgh, founder of Magdalena network- International Network of Women in Contemporary Theatre, actress and director, UK, Geddy Aniksdal, actress of Grenland FriTeatret, one of the oldest Norwegian theatre groups, Norway, Anna Furse, director and professor at Goldsmith University, London,UK, Jadranka Anđelić, director of SEQUENCIA CENICAS- Rio de Janeiro and co-founder of DAH Theatre, Serbia/Brazil and others.
As part of the programme DAH Theatre will perform it's performances The Shivering of the Rose, Alice in Dragonland, In/Visible City - a theatre action on the bus and "Village", present work demonstration "Perchance to Dream!", give lecture/performance, show movie about DAH Theatre "Glance on a Span".
Admission for the Conference and Festival is 250 Euros.
