ODIN WEEK FESTIVAL
The second Odin Week Festival in 2014 will take place at Odin Teatret in Holstebro, Denmark from Tuesday 19 - Friday 29 August 2014.
Participants should arrive on Tuesday 19 August 2014. Registration at Odin Teatret takes place between 4 p.m and 5 p.m.
The first meeting between the participants and Eugenio Barba will take place on 19 August at 5 p.m. All participants are expected to be present. The first performance of the Festival will be shown later in the evening.
The Odin Week Festival will conclude on Thursday 28 August at 11 p.m. and participants will leave by noon on Friday 29 August 2014.
Below is an example of the daily programme, which will be conducted in English:
08:00 - 10:00 | Physical and vocal training |
10:00 - 10:30 | Break |
10:30 - 12:00 | Work demonstration by Odin Teatret's actors |
12:00 - 13:30 | Lunch break and practical maintenance duties in the theatre |
13:30 - 16:30 | "The Odin Tradition" directed by one of the actors or musicians |
16:30 - 17:00 | Break |
17:00 - 18:00 | Meeting with Eugenio Barba |
18:00 - 20:00 | Break for dinner |
20:00 | Every evening there will be a performance by Odin Teatret |
PARTICIPATION FEE
The participation fee is DKK 7.500
(approx. Euro 1,000 / US$ 1,350 but please check bank rates for your country).
The fee includes:
- Entrance to all performances and pedagogical activities
- All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Accommodation in rooms of 3-8 people within the premises of Odin Teatret (maximum 38 participants) or double rooms in lodgings in town to no more than 3 km from Odin Teatret (transportation not included).
- Linen and towels during your stay.

IF you are accepted as a participant - the participation fee MUST be paid and received by the 19 June 2014 in order to secure you place. Once you have been accepted, you will receive information on how to make the payment.
