RUFF is a musical tribute to the huge space opened in Peggy’s brain after surviving a stroke in January 2011 that allowed her more room to create new material. This new work is the next in a series of autobiographical solo work exploring issues of gender and age.  ThroughoutShaw throws off the stigma of age and embraces the opportunity to create new work at 68, blaming the stroke for her behavior, with humor, wit and insight.

PLUS, catch Susana Cook on the same night perform her latest work, The Funeral of the Cow:  A Post-Modern Drama about the Drama of the Post-Modern.  Susana Cook creates a melancholic satire about trans-species, a hypnotizing world of dramatic, melodramatic and post-dramatic narratives that will delve into the essence of humans, non-humans and the rest of us.
