Gravida 2013

a Women in Pregnancy Performance

 

Thanks to the support of the Arts Council of Wales Women in Pregnancy was able to continue to explore the impact of pregnancy on woman’s creativity in a new project for 2013. 'Gravida' was a choreographed work by Aleksandra Jones, with pregnant professional performers Tanja Raman and Lara Ward. I was delighted to be on board again to document the project's development and be provided an open space to create new visual work; my photographic reflections and other documentations of 'Gravida' - including poetry/prose from Frances Medley (Creative Producer) and new drawings by Marega Palser (artist/performer and gerneral all-round fire-cracker!) can be see at
