error messages - solved!

this is a test post to see whether i have solved the problem of errors appearing on the page whenever you post new content - i've changed the "error reporting setting" to "write errors to the log" (instead of "write errors to the log and to the screen"). this doesn't mean that the errors aren't still happening, but it will be a lot less confusing for our members trying to post things, if they don't have to see all the error messages ... so let's submit this & see what happens!
